Who you surround yourself with matters. Be selective.

Your whole life can shift by simply standing close to the wrong—or right—person.

One voice can either water your faith or slowly drain your courage.

Some people sharpen you.
Others dull your sense of who you are.
Some push you toward becoming, others keep you stuck explaining why you can’t grow.

So yes—be selective.
Not out of pride, but out of stewardship.
Your heart, your calling, your future are too valuable for careless connections.

Pay attention to who you become after spending time with them. Do you feel inspired or diminished? Closer to God or further from peace?

Choose people who speak life, who tell you the truth with love, who celebrate growth instead of competing with it.

And if walking away feels lonely, remember—alignment is better than access. God often protects your future by removing the wrong company today.
