For Catholics, the Holy Hour has a very special significance. It means a continuous and unbroken hour spent in the presence of Our Divine Lord in the Eucharist… This Holy Hour will be spent in both prayer (recitation of formal, vocal prayer) and meditation. A distinction is here made between the two, with the emphasis on the latter… But the principal purpose of these Holy Hour meditations is the cultivation of mental prayer, or meditation… Meditation is a kind of communing of spirit with spirit, with God as its object... 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕡𝕘𝕙.𝕠𝕣𝕘 🙏🏻

In the Lamb of God Chapel, please join us following the 11:30 am Mass, to pray the rosary and to participate in a prayer of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On these First Fridays of the month, we will also gather in the STM breezeway, between the church and the Family Life Center, after the rosary. Are you thinking about becoming a Catholic? Do you know someone else who is thinking about it? Take the first step. There is no commitment required.
Come to an O.C.l.A. Inquiry meeting in the Utopia Room at St. Thomas More on September 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM. There will also be an Inquiry session held on September 15, 2026 at St. Thomas More at 7:00 PM, also in the Utopia Room. This is a chance to find out what the process of becoming a Catholic involves and have your questions answered about the Catholic faith. If you can’t make one of the Inquiry sessions, contact the office and ask to be directed to the O.C.I.A. Coordinator. Hope to see you there!

WE’LL HAVE THE GREEN VAN DOWN AT SJC AND THE WHITE BOX TRUCK IN THE PARKING LOT STM, FORT COUCH RD SIDE. LET’S FILL UP THE TRUCK! WE’LL HAVE VINCENTAINS AFTER ALL THE MASSES TO TAKE YOUR DONATION.

OPENING THE LAMB OF GOD CHAPEL 🕊️
Beginning this weekend, September 5-6, the way in which the Lamb of God Adoration Chapel opens will alter.
After the distribution of Holy Communion following the blessing of those taking Communion to the sick, the Blessed Sacrament will be processed from the sanctuary to the chapel to open. At this time, the hymn O Salutaris Hostia will be played. This is a way to maintain a reverent spirit and also ensure a smooth transition to open the chapel.
