With the snow that is expected this weekend, Bishop Mark Eckman has announced that there is a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass. He is also asking the Priests to celebrate Mass only at the place they live to protect their safety and eliminate their risk of traveling on snow covered roads.
The snow is expected to fall late on Saturday, and therefore the 4:00 pm Masses will continue as normal. It may be a good option for those who do want to attend Mass this weekend.
Masses are cancelled at St. Joseph, St.
Rita and St. Agnes.
The county is asking people to stay off the roads during the storm if at all possible to eliminate any unnecessary accidents and people being stranded on roads.
We will have Mass at St. Therese and St. Max since the priest reside at those two sites.
The weekend of January 24-25 we will have the following Masses:
4:00 PM at Holy Trinity
4:00 PM at St. Therese
7:30 AM at St. Therese
10:30 AM at St. Max
11:15 AM at St. Therese
Our new Mass schedule will take effect the weekend of January 31/February 1. However, because of this weekend’s cancellations we will be adding:
Sunday, February 9 at 8:30 a Mass will be added to the schedule for that weekend only at St. Joseph.
Sunday, February 15 at 10:00 AM will be added to the schedule for that weekend only at St. Rita.
