A huge congratulations to everyone who graduated from APLA and to all those who took the incredible step of being baptized. 🙌 We love celebrating what God is doing in people’s lives!

This weekend, Pastor Kyler reminded us that what we EXPECT often shapes what we PERCEIVE. It’s possible to be around all the right things and still miss what Jesus is doing right in front of us. Sometimes our expectations, timelines, and preferred outcomes can blind us to the ways God is actually moving.

The challenge? Surrender your script. Trust God’s Word and His character more than specific outcomes. And ask Him to keep your eyes open and your heart soft to what He’s doing, even when it doesn’t look like what you expected.

Action step for this week: Spend a few minutes each morning praying, “God, help me see what You’re doing today, and give me the faith to follow Your lead instead of my own script.”

We loved hearing from Pastor Sean as he reminded us that a unified church is an unstoppable church.

From Acts 2, we saw that the church is called to be rooted in community, moved to compassion, focused on the Great Commission, and centered on the Holy Spirit.

Action step this week: don’t just go to church—be the church.

Reach out, meet a need, pray for someone, and let the love of Jesus be seen through you.

Good news, APC Family!

The members of Allison Park Church have voted to affirm Pastor Josh Leake as our next Lead Pastor. 🥳

This is a significant moment in the life of our church. Over the past several months, we have walked through a season none of us expected, but God has been faithful in every step.

As we prayed through this transition, we asked important questions about the mission, vision, and values of APC, and the kind of leader we needed to carry that vision into the future. We believe God’s hand is on Pastor Josh, that God has called him, and that he is ready to lead Allison Park Church forward.

We are grateful for the foundation Pastor Jeff helped build over 35 years of faithful leadership, and we believe the best days for Allison Park Church are ahead!

We’re so thankful we got to worship with you and lean into such an important reminder from Pastor Josh’s message:

Jesus has always been the Head of this church, and He is still leading us forward.

Our foundation is strong.
Our direction is clear.
Our best days are still ahead.

This week, let’s keep choosing to seek Him first, trust Him fully, and do our part as the body of Christ. The future is bright because Jesus is leading the way.
