Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads and father figures in our church family! 🎉 We loved celebrating you this weekend and honoring the impact you make every day.

So grateful we got to gather together for another week of our Foundations series.

This week, Jesus challenged us with a tough but freeing truth: before we focus on what’s wrong in someone else, we need the courage to let God examine what’s happening in us.

Pastor Josh talked about:
✨ Anchoring our worth in grace, not performance
✨ Uncovering what fuels our criticism
✨ Exposing what we’re excusing in ourselves
✨ Practicing love with nothing to prove or gain

The goal isn’t to become less discerning—it’s to become more honest, humble, and Spirit-led.

This week’s challenge: Before you criticize, complain, or correct someone, pause and ask, “God, is there anything in me You want to address first?”

Let Him work on your heart before you try to work on someone else’s. Let’s be people who restore gently, love deeply, and reflect Jesus everywhere we go. ❤️

It's easy to avoid the big sins while ignoring what's happening in our hearts.

Jesus reminds us that anger, contempt, and unforgiveness can quietly damage our souls and our relationships. Building on His foundation means surrendering those things to Him and choosing reconciliation instead.

As Hebrews 12 reminds us, we're surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, heroes of the faith who ran their race well. Now it's our turn.

We're grateful for those who came before us and with our eyes fixed on Jesus, we're stepping forward in faith, believing the best is still ahead.

The Church of Jesus Christ is alive, growing, and moving forward, and we're honored to be part of what God is doing.

As we honor the legacy of Pastor Jeff and celebrate Pastor Josh stepping into the role of Lead Pastor, we're reminded that this story has never been about one person, it's always been about Jesus.

For decades, we've seen God move through faithful leaders, passionate people, and a church committed to pursuing His presence. We look back with gratitude for all God has done, but we also look forward with expectation for all He still wants to do.

One of Pastor Jeff's favorite phrases was, "There are greater things ahead." Today, that message still rings true.

The baton has been passed, but the mission remains the same: make disciples, raise up leaders, reach people with the hope of Jesus, and go after God with everything we have.

Jesus built His church. Jesus is leading His church. And we believe the best days are still ahead.

Let's run into the future together. 🏃‍♂️🔥
