But Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6

When we seek people's validation, we become slaves to man's opinions. When we seek treasures in this world, we become trapped in the mindset of 'the next best thing.'

When we instead seek Jesus Christ — the One who lives in us — we overcome all things that could have power to keep us bound. Instead, we can live freely knowing that no matter the circumstance in life, no matter how bad things look, no matter how terrible you feel, the Lord's presence is far greater than anything you could ever have in this lifetime.

Christ truly is the one treasure that can never be stolen, ignored, or devalued by anyone. So praise Him, for you have great gain if He lives in you. ♡
