Yesterday at New Genesis Center of Praise, we celebrated the strength, faith, and unwavering love of mothers during our powerful Mother’s Day service themed “A Mother’s Endurance in Perilous Times” based on Second Epistle to Timothy 3:1-8.

A heartfelt thank you to our inspiring speakers, Sister Ruby Coleman and Mother Thelma Johnson, for pouring wisdom, encouragement, and truth into every heart in attendance. Special appreciation to Mother Annie Cooper for beautifully hosting this memorable service.

In times that test our strength, mothers continue to stand in faith, lead with love, and endure through God’s grace. Yesterday was a reminder that virtuous women still shine brightly even in perilous times.

There’s nothing like the power of new life in Christ.

Yesterday at New Genesis Center of Praise, we witnessed souls go down in the water and come up changed. Lives were surrendered. Chains were broken. And the name of Jesus was lifted high.

The baptismal service was more than a moment. It was a move of God. As each person stepped into the water, it was a public declaration of a private transformation. The old was buried, and new life began right before our eyes.

You could feel the presence of the Lord in the room. Joy, tears, praise and it all came together as heaven rejoiced over every life made new.

If you’ve been thinking about taking that next step in your walk with God, let this be your sign. God is still saving. God is still delivering. God is still filling.

What we saw yesterday was real. And it’s only the beginning.

Today was a powerful reminder of what the church is called to do.

New Genesis Center of Praise came together for a food drive that was more than just giving groceries; it was about serving, loving, and showing up for our community in a real way. Every box shared, every hand extended, and every smile exchanged reflected the heart of ministry in action.

We don’t just gather inside the building; we go out and be the hands and feet.

Thank you to everyone who gave, served, and showed love today. This is what impact looks like.

Mothers don't just raise children — they hold things together when everything around them is falling apart.

2 Timothy 3 warns us that perilous times will come. Hard seasons, heavy pressure, real warfare. But a mother with faith? She doesn't fold. She endures. She prays through. She pushes forward — and somehow still pours into everyone around her.

This Mother's Day we're honoring that strength. Come celebrate the women who kept going when quitting would have been easier.
