You are invited to our next Motivational Interviewing-A Biblical Perspective Workshop, held in person on Friday July 31st, 2026 from 630-8:30pm at the TTR Center-Christ Church South Philly, 229 Moore Street Philadelphia, PA 19148. (APR-where we have the New Life Recovery Meeting)

Motivational Interviewing: Motivational Interviewing is the evidence based language of recovery, which respects the person’s values using empathy, listening, and compassion. This client centered counseling style aspires to eliciting behavior change by helping clients to explore and resolve ambivalence.

A Biblical Perspective: Communication through the absolute truth in the Word of God, not a focus on sobriety but a new purpose, a new creation through Christ. Based on the conviction: "Scripture is Sufficient for the task of Counseling" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Transformation to Recovery – PA CareerLink Office Hours
June 12th, 2026
We are grateful to host PA CareerLink’s office at Transformation to Recovery at Christ Church South Philly every other Friday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Today was a very productive and encouraging time! Many individuals are taking meaningful steps toward new careers, while others are making progress in obtaining vital documents such as birth certificates, state IDs, and Social Security cards.
We are especially thankful for CareerLink’s team leader, Taylor, whose wisdom and guidance continue to help lead people toward successful and sustainable career paths.

We hope this new schedule will continue to work well for you. As a reminder, we are currently in our study, “Who Is God: The Holy Spirit.”

A calendar has been sent out, and we look forward to seeing you at our next class on Wednesday, June 17th, either in person at Hope House or on Zoom.

TTR Chosen 300 6/08

We were blessed to join Chosen 300 in West Philly Monday night to help those in need. We were led in praise and worship by Aaron Elcock, heard scripture to by Phil Pass and a testimony by Andrew Freer from the Hope House. We then heard a testimony/sermon from our admin Billy Rodebaugh combing two powerful verses from scripture: Philippines 4:13 and Genesis 1:27. Thank you all who took time out of your day to come join us and make much of God through our community by serving some delicious food to them! We also want to thank Chosen 300 for having us and Bill Rodebaugh our Board President for running this! May all Glory be to God!

So Grateful for our speakers and teachers at the Friday night “New Life Recovery Meeting”.

Last Friday: 6/5/26, we had the honor to host Pastor Miles Nappi who brought the message: “Die to self-And Live in Christ” He went on to remind us that restoration is through His Grace and Mercy and in the Word of God and only Christ can restore the soul and break the bo***ge of addiction.

Help Me to give a huge thank you to Pastor Miles Nappi For bringing the Word of God!
