THE CHARLES ALBERT TINDLEY LEGACY PRESERVATION CENTER GRAND OPENING CEREMONY

The moment has come. With the amazing support of the Partners For Sacred Places and the William Penn Foundation after a two year historic Preservation Project the Tindley Temple Legacy Preservation Center has completed construction and we are ready to celebrate with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We invite one and all to join us as we honor the historic legacy of the Tindley Temple UMC and unveil our inaugural exhibition Tinley Temple the Music and Faith of Generations. Make your way to the Beacon On Broad Street for the official Ceremony, Ribbon Cutting and Reception Fellowship to follow. Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.

INTRODUCING VOICES OF HISTORY
STORIES FROM BLACK PENNSYLVANIANS

In this historic semiquincentennial year The Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society is thrilled to have been asked to participate and facilitate with Voices of History: Stories from Black Pennsylvanians, a statewide effort by PA Humanities to collect, preserve, and share the stories of Black residents.

We are hosting two days of community story circles sessions inviting people to share a story about a particular place, person, object, or personal memory that defines their family.
