Preparation Day is here! From sundown Thursday to sundown Friday, we get to intentionally prepare our hearts, minds, and homes to welcome God’s Holy Seventh-Day Sabbath.
Sabbath is not just a day off—it is a sanctuary in time.
Here is how you can clear the space today to receive His blessing tonight:
Finish the work: Complete your chores, cooking, and errands early.
Clear the mental clutter: Lay down the worries of the week.
Set the atmosphere: Prepare your home as if welcoming a royal guest.
Shift your focus: Transition from worldly hustle and bustle to spiritual rest.
"Six days you shall labor and do all your work..." (Exodus 20:9). Today, we wrap up the labor so we can fully dive into His Divine rest. Let’s finish strong so we can rest deeply and intentionally.
How are you preparing your heart and home for the Sabbath? Share your Preparation Day routines below! 👇

Please join Zion Tabernacle in wishing our Grand and Noble Leader, Chief Rabbi Phillip Eugene McNeil, Grand Father Abraham, a Happy Birthday! Words seem insufficient to express our love, so we will strive daily to put that love into action by fearing God, keeping His Commandments, and employing the “McNeil Formula.” We are beyond blessed and favored to be under his leadership…his spiritual prowess, his humility, his love, his wisdom, and the laughter we experience with him, PRICELESS!!! Praying that he has many, many more good, quality years with us! Chief Rabbi, ZION LOVES YOU!
Drop a “❤️,” in the comments and share your birthday greetings! He is more than deserving!

Motherhood isn't defined by a single path, but by the countless ways a heart can choose to love, nurture, and protect. This Mother’s Day, we honor every version of that love.
A Tribute to Every Heart That Mothers:
To the expectant mothers dreaming of the future, and the adoptive and foster mothers who proved that family is built by choice and commitment. To the stepmothers and mothers-in-law who expanded their hearts to make room for more, and the church mothers and mother figures who may not have physically given birth but have raised entire communities with their wisdom and grace. To those carrying the heavy weight of strained relationships, navigating the day with a mixture of love and hurt.To the mothers who have passed on, whose voices still echo in the quiet moments of our lives, and the mothers who have lost children, carrying a love that is as eternal as it is breathtakingly brave.Today, we don't just celebrate a title. We celebrate the spirit of "mothering"—the act of showing up, holding space, and loving unconditionally. To every heart that mothers: You are seen, you are valued, and you are loved.
Since motherhood is a mosaic, not a single picture. 🧩❤️
Today we’re lighting a virtual candle for:
✨ The moms we miss dearly.
✨ The moms-to-be.
✨ The aunties, mentors, and "bonus" moms.
✨ The mom’s healing through hard seasons.
✨ The moms whose children are in their hearts, not their arms.
From our hearts to yours, Happy Mother’s Day!
Drop a "❤️" in the comments to honor a mother figure in your life, or share one word that describes her spirit! 👇
