إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Aicha Lahlou.

We ask Allah ﷻ to forgive her sins, shower her with His infinite mercy, make her grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, elevate her ranks, and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus without reckoning. May Allah grant her family and loved ones patience, comfort, and strength during this difficult time. Ameen.

Salatul Janazah will be held tomorrow, Friday, July 31, immediately after Jumu’ah prayer at Masjid Al-Furqan.

We sincerely encourage our brothers and sisters to attend the Janazah prayer and, if you are able, to accompany our sister to the cemetery for her burial. Standing with a fellow Muslim in their final moments is a tremendous act of worship and a right that every Muslim has upon another. Your presence, your du’a, and your support for the family are all acts that carry immense reward with Allah ﷻ.

May Allah ﷻ forgive all of our deceased, grant them His mercy, and make our final deeds our best deeds. Ameen.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

It is with great sadness that we inform our Masjid Al-Furqan community that our beloved brother, Sheikh Ahmed Tiddane, has returned to Allah in Senegal.

Sheikh Ahmed was a valued member of our community who dedicated much of his time, effort, and support to our masjid and its members. His kindness, sincerity, and service will be remembered, and we ask Allah to reward him abundantly for all the good he did.

We kindly ask everyone to remember him in your du’as. Please ask Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) to forgive his sins, have mercy upon him, expand and illuminate his grave, accept all of his righteous deeds, and grant him the highest level of Jannatul Firdaus. We also ask Allah to grant patience, strength, and comfort to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

May Allah accept Sheikh Ahmed among His righteous servants and make his legacy of service a continuous source of reward for him.

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله، ووسع مدخله، واجعل قبره روضةً من رياض الجنة، وارزقه الفردوس الأعلى بغير حساب. آمين.

تذكيرٌ أحبّتنا بأن عيد الأضحى المبارك غدًا إن شاء الله تعالى.

🕌 مواعيد صلاة العيد:
• الصلاة الأولى: الساعة 7:30 صباحًا
• الصلاة الثانية: الساعة 8:30 صباحًا

بحسب توقعات الطقس، هناك احتمال لهطول الأمطار خلال وقت صلاة العيد صباح الغد.

نظرًا لأن بعض المصلين قد يصلّون خارج المسجد، فنرجو إحضار سجادة ومظلة للحماية من المطر في حال كنتم من المصلين في الخارج، إن شاء الله.

جزاكم الله خيرًا على تعاونكم، ونسأل الله أن يرزقنا وإياكم عيدًا مباركًا متقبلًا.

A friendly reminder that Eid al-Adha is tomorrow, In shā’ Allāh.

🕌 Eid Prayer Schedule:
• First Eid Salah: 7:30 AM
• Second Eid Salah: 8:30 AM

According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility of rain during the Eid prayer hours tomorrow morning.

We kindly encourage everyone to please bring a سجادة (Sujjada / prayer rug) and an umbrella with them. Since some attendees may be praying outside, having an umbrella will help protect you from the rain if you happen to be among those praying outdoors, in shā’ Allāh.

Jazakum Allahu khayran for your cooperation, and we ask Allah to grant us a blessed and accepted Eid.
