Saint Herve was a holy man from a part of France called Brittany who lived a long time ago in the sixth century. He was born completely blind, but he did not let that stop him from sharing his deep love for God. Herve became a famous musician and teacher who traveled around singing beautiful hymns while a young boy named Guiomar helped guide him along the paths. According to a famous legend, a wild wolf sadly attacked and ate the donkey that Herve used to plow his fields. Herve prayed, and the wolf felt so sorry that it actually took the donkey's place, becoming Herve's friendly pet and helper! Because of his amazing life and kindness to animals, he is remembered as a patron saint of blind people and musicians. His special feast day is celebrated every year on June 17.

St. Olivia of Palermo is a venerated martyr whose historical details are often intertwined with early Christian legends. According to tradition, she was a beautiful and devout young woman living in Palermo during the 9th or 10th century. Captured by Saracen raiders, she was taken to Tunis, North Africa, where she was enslaved. Despite her captivity and the pressure to convert, Olivia steadfastly refused to renounce her Christian faith. She became known for her virtuous life and her work comforting fellow prisoners, and is sometimes credited with miraculously calming a wild animal or converting her captors. Her unwavering commitment eventually led to her martyrdom. In Christian art, she is frequently depicted as a beautiful woman, often holding an olive branch as a symbol of her name and the peace of Christ, and is a patron saint of Palermo.

St. Clotilda, a 6th-century queen of the Franks, is highly revered for her instrumental role in the conversion of her husband, King Clovis I, to Christianity. Born a Burgundian princess, she remained steadfast in her Catholic faith despite marrying the pagan king, and she tirelessly prayed and advocated for his baptism. Her prayers were answered after Clovis, facing defeat in battle, vowed to accept her God if he triumphed; his subsequent victory led to his historic baptism in 496, a pivotal moment that established the Christian foundations of Western Europe. Following her husband's death, Clotilda dedicated the remainder of her long life to works of charity, building churches and monasteries, and enduring immense family tragedies with deep piety. Her feast day is celebrated on June 3.
