What does it truly mean to seek Christ? Join Elder Sharron Lee of Succeeding by Faith Ministries for “How to Seek Christ,” a Christian message encouraging believers to pursue God, grow in holiness, and allow the Word of God to transform their hearts, minds, and daily lives.
Seeking Christ is more than simply knowing about Him. It means developing a deeper relationship with God, learning to follow His ways, and allowing His truth to guide our thoughts, choices, and actions. Through this message, reflect on your purpose as someone created in the image of God and consider what it means to live a life that honors Him.
The Scriptures remind us that we were created with purpose and called to reflect God's character. As believers, we are encouraged to live holy lives, present ourselves to God, and allow Him to renew our minds so that we can recognize and follow His will. Seeking Christ requires a willing heart, a commitment to God's Word, and a desire to become more like Jesus each day.
📖 Scriptures referenced:
• Genesis 1:26–28 — God created humanity in His image and gave mankind purpose and responsibility in His creation.
• Genesis 2:7 — God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, reminding us that life comes from God.
• 1 Peter 1:15–16 — God calls His people to be holy in all their conduct because He is holy.
• Romans 12:1–2 — Believers are called to present themselves as living sacrifices to God and be transformed by the renewing of their minds rather than conforming to the pattern of this world.
As you listen, consider how you can seek Christ more intentionally in your everyday life. Are your thoughts, habits, decisions, and priorities reflecting your desire to follow Him? Allow this message to encourage you to draw closer to God, renew your mind through Scripture, pursue holiness, and live according to His purpose.
