💭 To believe in God is to trust in his love that overcame his justice toward your own failings.

✝ Killing gossip is one of the most wholesome things you can do on earth.

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father,
What a simple and clear insight you give me in this little proverb. When I hear a word of gossip, all I must do is nothing.

I just let the thought disappear, buried in my soul. I can forget about it and make sure others never hear about it from me. I can kill the gossip like water kills a fire.

So often, I feel like there is nothing I can do about the gossip, but you are showing me that nothing is what I do. Then I will keep the forest fire from burning in my neck of the woods.

Help me to replace gossip once I have killed it with words that reflect love and truth and lead others back to you.

Thanks for forgiving me for all the times I stoked the fire instead of putting it out!
Amen.

Brothers and Sisters, we have a new Holy Word family member in need. Miguel was in a car accident on Sunday and is in the hospital with a broken neck. He is able to move his arms and legs, but recovery will be a long road. Please keep him in your prayers.🙏

Lord God, we ask you to keep your promise on behalf of Miguel. You have promised, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Send your angels to watch over him. Amen.
