We have a lot to celebrate this past month. This does not count getting our nursery up and running and a new Sunday School class with believers and getting two of our other Sunday School classes in reach of being full time with teachers. Our finances are so much better this year than last year.

The most important news is that new believers are coming to the faith. We welcome them, the Story family, Cobb family, John Poole, Daniel Garcia, Colton Bettinger, Ben Ash, and Ezekiah Reynoso.We also have the Hancock's who joined us by statement of faith with their daughter Sully baptized at OCC before joining us.

We also have one, maybe two more baptisms this month. All glory goes to Jesus Christ.

I also have to say I am proud, my son Ben Roberts, as the Pastor writing this, helped me with the baptisms. God is good.

This week we will have a message on the meaning of Communion. We will also serve Holy Communion. September will be another blessed, busy month as we will have our Women's Weekend with service. More details to follow. We will also have a church picnic with one, maybe two more baptisms. God is on the move.

Come see us Sunday as you will have an opportunity to write a question and send it to the Pastor, and he and the church will dive into the Word to answer it to the best of our ability.

Also, we are going to celebrate Jesse and Kristi Johnson as they will be going back home to Madisonville where they live. We appreciate their hard work and dedication. They will be so missed by all of us.

We are doing something a bit different Sunday morning at 10:15. The Pastor is going to share from John 3 about Nicodemus and Jesus, and then after the short message (10 minutes), we will have questions from the congregation, and I, the Pastor, or anyone can answer. All questions about Jesus and the Gospel will be discussed. Don't be nervous, because I am a bit nervous myself. You will not come up to a mic, just speak where you are at, and it is going to be a good time of discussing topics. We all are going to be invovled.

Sunday School is 9 and it is growing so much we restarted one age group, and have a new class going well.

We want to welcome the Hancocks to the family of Apollo Heights. God is on the move, and what a great day to see this wonderful family join ours.
