Right to Life Walk is scheduled for Sept. 12, with organizers saying the event unites community members in support of the sanctity of human life.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of Our Lady of Lourdes, with the walk stepping off at 10. The event is free and open to the public.

Participants will begin at Our Lady of Lourdes and travel north on Frederica Street to the Wesleyan Park Plaza before taking a brief break and returning to the church. The round-trip route is just under three miles. There is no cost to participate. If you attend, wear some Knights of Columbus shirts or hats to show our support for Life from birth through natural death and families.

Our council hosted cookies, ice cream sandwiches and drinks after 5pm Mass tonight.

We will host coffee and donuts after the 8am Mass tomorrow. And cookies, ice cream sandwiches and drinks after the 10:30am Mass tomorrow.

Fr John WILL be celebrating the First Saturday devotion this Saturday, August 1st at 8 AM, and each First Saturday through December.

Let us come together in prayer and devotion as we honor our Blessed Mother and ask her to continue to intercede for us and lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

This weekend, after every Mass at Precious Blood Catholic Church, the Knights will be hosting parish summer socials.
- Cookies & Ice Cream treats after Masses at 5pm Saturday & 10:30am Sunday
- Coffee, Juice, & Donuts after Mass at 8am Sunday

This morning, between the 8 & 10:30 AM Masses, the Knights from Council #10725 flipped pancakes and served breakfast for almost 50 members of the parish.

They accepted donations to benefit the Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp & Retreat Center. Food was also shared with St. Benedict's Homeless Shelter.
