Rivertree Church Rivertree is one church with two locations! Services are at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

We hope you'll join us this Sunday online or in person at our Downtown or Hampton Cove campus in the Huntsville, AL area. Rivertree puts into action its mission by connecting families with Christ through Christ Centered Worship and discipleship opportunities, as well as actively engaging with community non-profits and people groups in other parts of the world.

We’d love to include your rocks in dedication of the building! If you made rocks of dedication, please bring them with you this Sunday , September 6, or to the office throughout the week. These will be placed under the foundation, under the future stage, where the Word will be preached. IT’S ALMOST TIME for Bikes, Bubbles, and Buddies, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Everyone is invited! Kids through 5th grade can bring their bikes, scooters, and skateboards (no e-bikes or scooters, please) to ride through our obstacle courses!

There will be one obstacle course for preschoolers and another for the bigger kids, water features, bubbles, a cool summer treat, and so much fun! Bring your chairs, blankets, friends, neighbors, and family and join us this Friday, August 28, for a fantastic evening together!

Your Word is a light to my feet and light to my path. Psalm 119:105

Fall Bible Studies Are Beginning! Growing in the Word allows us to follow the Lord more closely. It allows us to hear His voice and gives us discrenment as we walk through life. It’s one of the best ways to learn and grow in God’s heart for us and for the world around us.

There are many people in our Rivertree Family who knew, loved, and were impacted by Frances Kyser. Many people who did not know Frances personally were praying for her battle with cancer after hearing her story in our Thanksgiving service. Frances has always pointed people to Jesus, and last week she joined Him face to face.

We are thankful for the joy of Jesus that she showed and shared with everyone she met, and we’re praying for family and friends greiving her absence.

Frances’s memorial service will be held on August 19 at 1:30 pm at the Downtown Campus.

Treeschool is in full swing, and we're praying for another great year!

This will be the 16th year of Treeschool at the Cove Campus, and the 2nd year of Treeschool at the Downtown Campus! It is such a blesing to care for, teach, and get to know the precious children who walk through our doors each day. It is honor to share life with them and their parents, and we pray that each family who comes will know the love of Christ more deeply through these incredible teachers, aides, assistants, and directors.

We have big news! We’re Making Room in our buildings and construction is beginning at the Cove Campus! The even bigger news will be what the Lord does through His people as we make room in our lives to love those around us to know Jesus. Please pray for the gospel message of love and hope to impact our lives our neighbors and our city in ways we can’t even imagine!

It’s time for school! Thank you, Rivertree Family, for your heart for the Lord and for others through Him. Thank you for following Jesus in generosity. Because you did, 100 foster children are starting school this week with everything on their school supplies lists, including their backpacks. They’re beginning today with items picked out just for them and notes of encouragement.

As you pray for your own children or children you know who are heading back to school; please also pray for these children, for their birth families, their foster families, and their teachers. We’re praying they would have a great school year, and that each person would know the love Christ has for them; that they are precious to Him, and that His love never changes.

Thank you, Rivertree Family, for loving like Jesus! And thank you North Alabama Foster Closet for the way you consistently show up for families with the love of Christ. You are an incredible blessing to us! @

The Lord is at work throughout the world, and we can’t wait to share! Our 2026 teams will join us this Sunday night, August 2, at the Downtown Campus. If you haven’t registered yet, we hope you will!

We’ll provide dinner, but the real entree will be the stories. As our teams served alongside our partners, they met people whose lives have been changed by the gospel, people who were indifferent, people who didn’t want to have anything to do with the gospel message, and why our partners do what they do. They witnessed joy and heartache. They laughed and they cried, and now we get to hear why.

This will also be a night with opportunity to meet our local partners and see the mission right here at home.

The gospel is good news, and here, there, and everywhere - people need other hear it! We hope you’ll join us!

YES! We want mercy! Jonah was glad to receive God’s mercy in the belly of the fish, just like we are when we cry out to the Lord; yet he struggled to extend that mercy to other people. Who is it that needs mercy and grace from us today? Who do we deem unlovable that the Lord wants to extend forgiveness to?

This can be an area where we all struggle, but we are not alone. The Lord wants to help us love others. If there is someone you want to forgive but are having trouble, ask the Lord to help you. Keep asking, and see what He does. If you need someone to pray for you in the journey, please reach out to us at [email protected], and we will gladly pray!

God’s love and mercy is for YOU!
