Dear South City Family and Friends,

Sunday, September 4th at 10:00am, will be our last service held at our location on Weatherly Rd. We will worship as one family with Nueva Vida and South City Kids will not meet. We will also host breakfast before worship from 9:15-10am.

As we have been learning during our current sermon series, our services on Sunday morning are gatherings of the church, not the church itself. Our church consists of our people and the relationships that hold us together under Christ. We have always been a part of a larger church family, Cove Church Ministries.

So, while we are stopping services together in one location, we are starting to find a new place to worship and serve within Cove Church Ministries at . Our partners in ministry, .hsv, will also be transitioning to our new church home together.

We know that change can be difficult and we want you to know that we are committed to walking through this transition phase together. We welcome any questions or concerns you may have and would love to meet with you to discuss how you can find community and service opportunities at Cove Church or . While one expression of our ministry is changing, I’m excited about the new season we believe God is leading us into. I hope you’ll continue on this journey with us.

We are so excited to host “WayFM on the Street” between noon and 1pm on Thursday August 4th! They will be giving away some free Golden Years ice cream*!

WayFM will also be collecting diapers, baby formula, and baby wipes for Huntsville Pregnancy Resource Center, Women's Center of Athens, and Sav-A-Life - Decatur for our World's Biggest Baby Shower.

We all have influence regardless of age or occupation. The question is not do we impact others, but how? Throughout our Influencers series, we will examine the faith of four young people who had an enormous effect on the society and culture of their time. And, we will consider how we can make a difference in our own spheres of influence.

Join us this week at 9:30am as pastor explores Joseph's impact on others. Joseph overcame enormous obstacles and setbacks in order to fulfill his God-given potential. We can too, but it will require patience, integrity, faithfulness, forgiveness and trust wherever life takes us.

Just wanted to let you know we will still gather in-person and online this morning. With that said, we know the weather outside is less than ideal. Please use caution on the roads due to the wintery mix if you decide to come in-person. We will have hot coffee waiting for you in the lobby!

Start the new year off with a habit of prayer. Each morning we will gather for a time of equipping or personal testimony, worship and prayer. If you are unable to join us in person you can still participate by attending online at covechurch.live. Each morning’s session will remain available online for 24 hours.
