Dios de compasión, ya estabas aquí antes de que llegáramos, en la resistencia de nuestros vecinos, en las manos que sirven, en cada familia que apareció y se fue sabiendo que pertenecían.

Nos abriste el camino y nos acercaste a ti.

Ahora vierta su amor en nuestros corazones, para que, llenos, podamos compartir libremente —lo que creamos juntos, una oración bilingüe, un asiento en la mesa, una palabra de esperanza— y proclamar las Buenas Nuevas de su Hijo a cada familia que entre por estas puertas con miedo, hambre y el coraje para seguir adelante.

Amén.

God of compassion, you were already here before we arrived, in the resistance of our neighbors, in the hands that serve, in every family that appeared and left knowing that they belonged.

You opened the way for us and brought us closer to you.

Now pour your love into our hearts, so that, full, we can freely share - what we create together, a bilingual prayer, a seat at the table, a word of hope - and proclaim the Good News of your Son to every family that enters these doors with fear, hunger and courage to move forward.

Dios Creador, Sofía del principio, tú estabas presente cuando nada existía. Creaste la vida con deleite. Y cuando nos perdimos, nos enviaste a tu Hijo, nacido en los márgenes, criado en Galilea, que comió con los excluidos y murió como mueren los criminalizados.
Y resucitó. Y envió su Espíritu. El mismo Espíritu que hoy sopla sobre esta mesa, sobre este pan y este fruto de la vid, sobre esta comunidad que no pide documentos para entrar.
Todos son bienvenidos a la mesa. / All are welcome at the table.
Creator God, Sofia from the beginning, you were present when nothing existed. You created life with delight. And when we were lost, you sent us your Son, born in the margins, raised in Galilee, who ate with the excluded and died as the criminalized die.

For those who are silenced by systems of oppression, confinement is not a sign of cowardice, but the reality of an overwhelming threat. And it is in that very confinement where God breaks in and gives his resilient peace: not the promise that everything will be alright, but Shalom - the wholeness and dignity that his presence alone bestows.

God gives his breath, the ruah, which is the same breath of creation: organic, simple, and powerful. A breath that does not need to justify itself with documents or titles. It is as radical and necessary as breathing.

And from that breath, his voice rises, directed to the community, transforming it from one that hides in fear to one that goes out with a mission.

Para quienes son silenciados por sistemas de opresión, el encierro no es un signo de cobardía, sino la realidad de una amenaza contundente. Y es en ese mismo encierro donde Dios irrumpe y da su paz resiliente: no la promesa de que todo estará bien, sino el Shalom —la plenitud y la dignidad que otorga su sola presencia.

Dios da su soplo, el ruah, que es el mismo aliento de la creación: orgánico, simple y poderoso. Un aliento que no necesita justificarse con documentos ni títulos. Simplemente es radical y necesario como respirar.

Y de ese aliento surge su voz, dirigida a la comunidad, transformándola de una que se esconde por miedo a una que sale con una misión.

God of all life, you hold this broken and beautiful world together - every person, every fear, every hope.

In a time when the noise of hostility grows loud, we come to you not with polished words, but with honest hearts.

Hear the prayers rising from this community - from those who are tired, uncertain, and still showing up. Hear the prayers of your children everywhere who are longing for something more than survival.

Send us your Spirit - the Spirit that speaks truth when silence feels safer, and brings peace that doesn't ignore the pain, but walks through it with us.

Hold us together, God. Hold the world together. Amen.

Dios de toda vida, tú sostienes este mundo roto y hermoso — cada persona, cada miedo, cada esperanza. En un tiempo en que el ruido de la hostilidad se hace más fuerte, venimos a ti no con palabras perfectas, sino con corazones honestos.

Escucha las oraciones que se levantan desde esta comunidad — de quienes están cansados, inciertos y aún así aquí presentes. Escucha las oraciones de tus hijos e hijas en todas partes, quienes anhelan algo más que simplemente sobrevivir.

God of life and liberation, you sent Jesus among us as the Way that leads to dignity, the Truth that sets us free, and the Life that no power on earth can silence.
Fill us with your grace so that we may love one another across every border, every difference, every wound. Teach us to walk together in the way of love - especially with those the world has pushed to the margins - and carry the fire of his resurrection into our homes, our communities, and our streets.
May the risen Christ be known in us, and through us, to all the world.
Amen.

Dios de vida y liberación, tú enviaste a Jesús entre nosotras y nosotros como el Camino que nos lleva a la dignidad, la Verdad que nos hace libres, y la Vida que ningún poder en esta tierra puede silenciar.

Speak to us today. Help us hear your voice clearly, so we can walk forward with confidence and without fear.
We trust that you are taking us somewhere good - to a place of rest, celebration, and belonging, a table you have already set for us in your house.

Dios, tú eres nuestro pastor. Nos conoces a cada uno por nombre, y aun en nuestros momentos más oscuros y difíciles, estás ahí - guiándonos a través de ellos, no rodeándolos.

Dios de gracia, tu Hijo se dio a conocer a sus discípulos en el partir del pan. Abre los ojos de nuestra fe, para que podamos reconocerlo en su obra redentora en medio de nosotros, quien vive y reina contigo y con el Espíritu Santo, un solo Dios, ahora y por siempre. Amén.
