Mt. Moriah shows up again and again throughout Scripture.

It’s where Abraham experienced God’s provision.
Where David encountered God’s mercy.
And where Solomon built the Temple — a place that pointed people toward God’s holiness, the seriousness of sin, and the need for a substitute.

But ultimately, Mt. Moriah was pointing to Jesus.

The Bible is one connected story of redemption, and every passage helps us see more clearly who He is and what He came to do.

We say “life is good” all the time—but Deuteronomy 28 reminds us it’s not just a phrase… it’s a path.

God’s heart has always been to bless His people, to provide, protect, and pour out goodness. But those blessings are tied to walking in His ways. Obedience doesn’t earn God’s love—but it does place us in the flow of His goodness.

And the opposite is true too. When we choose our own way over His, we step out of that path and into something far less life-giving.

Two paths are in front of us every day—life or death, blessing or cursing. And in the small, ordinary choices we make, we’re choosing which road we walk.

Let’s be people who choose the way of life.

What’s shaping your calendar right now?

In Leviticus 23, God tells Israel to build remembrance into their yearly rhythm — Sabbath rest, Passover, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Shelters.

These feasts reminded them of deliverance, provision, forgiveness, and God’s faithfulness in the wilderness.

God knew something important: people are prone to forget.
So He gave them rhythms to keep their hearts anchored.
Celebrations help form identity.
