Online registration is now closed, but no worries — you can still register in person Monday morning in the Worship Center lobby!

4-Friends Special Needs VBS begins Sunday evening, June 7 from 6:30–9:00 PM and is for completed kindergarteners through adults with special needs. Online registration for 4-Friends is still open through Wednesday, June 3.

Pizza night at Longview! 🍕

Dough Co Pizza Pie will be with us tonight before our Wednesday night activities, so come hungry and make dinner easy!

Today was our last day in the Kitale Town area, tomorrow we start heading toward Nairobi. Today we did a visit with the child development team. We visited with a family for a followup visit. The children were health and joyful. The parents were doing well also. We gave them some supplies and gave words of encouragement before leaving for town.

In town, we had lunch with the house parents and the Zoe staff at a restaurant. It was a good time of fellowship and food. Following lunch we went back to the Zoe office to say good bye to the staff that served us throughout the week. They were such a blessings! Here are a few pictures from the day!

We were thrilled to celebrate with Daniel this past Sunday as he publicly declared through baptism, "I'M WITH JESUS!"

Today was spent in West Pokot. The ladies spent time with the young girls, grade 3-9, of Kalas Primary School empowering them through scripture, encouragement, & teaching them famine needs. The ladies spent time with leaders, Ann & Helen, who are apart of women empowerment in the region. Sherry & Katie also visited a Zoe Well to speak with some members of the community out in West Pokot.

The men went to a well early and found out that the area government had been there last week doing the repair. We then went to the pastor training center. We walked through the library and the classrooms. Along with the training center we toured the water teams offices and storage for the water projects. The next stop was in the Chemonges community which was a quick repair.

The final stop was a water well close to the Ugandan boarder. This well was associated with a primary school and community. The community and school is called Nakuyen. As we were doing the well several men came to watch the work we were doing, later the school released the children to come see the work. They were fun to interact with while we worked. Paul gathered them all together to speak to them. Once the well was repaired the children came rushing over to fill up water bottles.

It is early Monday morning in Kenya, yesterday was a full day. We went to the Zoe pavilion for church. Sherry taught Sunday School on David and Goliath. Katie led the group in "My God is So Strong and So Mighty" with motions. It was a lot of fun. I preached the service from John 15, and we quoted the memory verse from John 15:5. Hopefully we will be able to load the video later. I struggled with the ESV translations because I memorized the CSV version (HAHA).

Following church, we walked to the Zoe compound for lunch and fellowship with the staff and children. After lunch, Sherry and Katie helped make Kenyan donuts called Mandazi. That taste like Beignet without the powdered sugar. Later, Sherry found a Gecko and showed it to the children. After a full afternoon playing with the children and eating we came to "Mimi's Cafe" for shakes before returning to Karibuni.
