“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” — Jeremiah 3:15 (KJV)

This month is set aside as Pastor Appreciation Month; so we as the members and body of Temple Church want to take a moment to celebrate and appreciate she who God has chosen to oversee us! Today and everyday, we thank God for the gift of a pastor who faithfully answers Her calling. ❤️

Being a pastor is more than a title; it’s a commitment to pray, lead, teach, encourage, and shepherd God’s people—even when no one sees the sacrifice behind the calling.

See; Pastor Kisha was anointed for this and handles the call, title and position with grace. Even when her days are hard, her nights are long and ninjas question it.

For all the days you go, for all that you give, for all that you say; while you are most times under paid and over used, tired, grieving or just plan wore out, know that you are appreciated and loved PreacHER Pastor!!!

May God continue to strengthen you, refresh your spirit, give you wisdom, and bless you for every seed you sow into the lives of others. May you never grow weary in doing His work, and may you always feel the love and appreciation of those you serve.

Happy Pastor Appreciation Pastor Lakisha Johnson

💚

We, the Pastor and Members of Temple Church share in the sorrow over the passing of our beloved Katron Walker, JR.

Katron is the son of Elder Rvndi Rashad and the nephew of Pastor Lakisha Johnson.

If you knew Kane, then you know he loved and faithfully served God and his church family. While we are heartbroken, we dare not grieve as those with no hope. For we know that Kane is now resting with God.

We therefore ask for your prayers as we travel this road of grief.

Services are pending 🥺💔

You must be careful who you listen to about what God has shown you. They might not see God like you do.
