Great Commission Church Experience God. Find Community. Sunday 9:00am and 11:00am A Snapshot of GCC

We believe the Bible. We take the highest view of Jesus.

We are not ashamed of the message of the cross. We teach what God has to say about life, death and eternity. We are committed to our local community: Olive Branch, MS
We don't condemn people - GCC is a hospital for sinners, not a showroom for saints. We believe in holy living but we don't always "get it right!"
We don't ask our visitors to meet the financial needs of our ministry
We dress comfortably and casually
Our typical service is 1 hour 15 minutes

Our Core Values
People: People matter to God and last forever
Disciple-Making: We develop people into fully functioning followers of Christ
Christian Community: Who we know and where we go makes all the difference
Grace: We’re accepted by the one who matters most
Excellence: What we do, we strive to do well

Our Church Structure
Great Commission Church is an elder-led congregation of believers rather than congregationally led. This means the Elders have the freedom to lead the church and make the day to day decisions. We are guided by the pastors, guarded by the elders, and gifted by the members. Our Vision
Outreach to the lost that is intentional and relational
Lifting up the name of Jesus through relevant praise and worship
Influencing people to become fully functioning followers of Christ
Vital church fellowship through small groups
Efficient and effective service through lay ministry
Building God’s kingdom through explosive growth by meeting felt needs
Reproducing ourselves by becoming a parenting sending church
Advertising through innovative means
New avenues of ministry through strategic, practical facilities
Characteristic of excellence defining everything we do
Healthy church established by acting upon and revisiting our stated vision

🚀 Something powerful is coming...

What if church wasn't just somewhere you went, but a movement you were part of? Starting Sunday, October 18, we’re launching our new sermon series: "More & Better Disciples."

We’ll be exploring the Great Commission Engine—a strategy used by vibrant churches around the globe to help us grow deeper in faith and reach wider in love.
Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and come ready to see what God can do when we step into His mission together!

🗓️ Starts Oct 18 | In-person & Online

The Gospel isn't complicated—it's a simple historical fact. Jesus died for our sins. That's it. That's the message that changed everything. 🙏

Sunday is almost here! Join us at 9 or 11 AM as we continue in Galatians with “Are You Reborn or Just Religious?”

What’s the difference between a “religious checklist” faith and a life truly transformed by Jesus? Nobody walks alone - let’s learn what it means to live on mission together! ❤️

You can't serve Christ while chasing everyone's approval. When fear of losing people drives your decisions, you lose the Gospel. Ask yourself: Who am I really trying to please?

Lord, remind us today that Your approval is the only one that lasts. Give us the courage to live and speak faithfully, rooted in the security we already have in Christ. Amen. 🤍
