Some pain walks into you. Some pain you walk into. Knowing the difference could change everything.
This week we kicked off our new series, Unforeseen, diving into Proverbs 7 and the story of a young man walking into a trap he never saw coming. Solomon watched from above with a perspective the young man on the street simply did not have. The difference between them was not intelligence. It was altitude.
Here is the truth that hit hard: "He did not know it would cost him his life." Most of us make destructive decisions not because we wanted a bad outcome, but because from where we were standing, in the dark, at that hour, we simply could not see the end of the road.
God is not silent at the window. He is shouting, begging, and calling down into your street. The question is whether we are willing to humble ourselves, borrow someone else's vantage point, and finally let someone see our street. Do not walk in the dark alone.
