Our God is so thoughtful and knows we require rest. He wants us to take designated time for that Sabbath rest to reset and feel renewed for the days ahead. Even God rested!

“For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is truly your friend. Don’t over complicate your relationship. He’s your friend you can talk to throughout your day. When you’re upset, frustrated, happy etc. He is so real, and you can treat him as a real friend.

There are many things you can do to feel closer and deepen your relationship with God. Such as, worship, praise, reading his word, fellowshipping with others and sharing the good news.

What a friend we have in Jesus!
