We’re so excited to welcome Martha Amaro to First Reformed Church on Sunday, September 6! 💚🌿

Martha will be joining us during the service to share about the incredible work she is doing in Oaxaca, Mexico, and how God is moving through that ministry. She will also be preaching and sharing a message with us that morning.

After the service, everyone is invited to Wezeman Hall for an informal Q&A for a chance to hear more about Martha’s ministry, ask questions, and connect with her personally.

Hi Church Family,

We hope you’ll join us tonight for our Family Dinner! There is something special about coming together around the table, sharing a meal, catching up, and enjoying time as a church family.

After dinner, we will also hold our Children’s Ministry Training. If you serve or plan to serve in Children’s Ministry, please plan to stay as we prepare together for the year ahead.

We are so thankful for those who invest in the children and families of our church, and we’re looking forward to an evening of good food, fellowship, and preparation for another great year of ministry.

When the Redeemer Will Not Rest

Some of God’s most important work happens when we cannot yet see the outcome.

Ruth 3 is a midnight story; a story filled with darkness, uncertainty, risk, and waiting. The future is not yet secure. The answers are not yet clear. The story is not yet finished.

Yet by morning, Ruth carries grain home as a sign of hope and promise.

Why?

Because the redeemer is working.

Many of us know what it feels like to wait in the dark, wondering what God is doing. Ruth reminds us that even when the future seems uncertain, God is already at work behind the scenes, moving His plan of redemption forward.
