Great news: The PREPARES Diaper and Clothing Closet reopens this Saturday, August 8.
Come in from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The PREPARES Diaper and Clothing Closet welcomes Whidbey Island families once again at St. Mary Catholic Church in Coupeville. Locate the closet in the downstairs classroom next to the side parking lot. Access is open to all.
Families with children from preborn through age 5 may choose needed items at no cost. Available selections include diapers, toddler clothing in sizes 2T to 5T, maternity clothing, baby bottles, baby wipes, and additional essentials.

Archbishop Etienne has asked all parishes to take up a second collection at all Masses this weekend Aug 8–9 for the Spokane Complex Fire Support Fund (Catholic Charities Eastern Washington).

The PREPARES Diaper and Clothing Closet thanks all Whidbey Island community members for their support. The grand opening this past weekend was a success. Several Whidbey Island families with children from preborn to age 5 stopped in and selected diapers and clothing.
The closet will be open again on August 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 207 N Main St, Coupeville, WA 98239. For more information, contact (360) 375-2303 or [email protected].
Families are invited to visit for item selection at no cost. Donations of diapers, baby wipes, new or gently used toddler and maternity clothing, baby bottles, and more remain welcome.
