The regular Mass schedule returns this weekend, September 5th and 6th. Saturday at 5:00PM and Sunday at 8:00AM, 9:30AM and 11:30AM. Confessions are Saturday's from 4:00PM to 4:45PM.

On Sunday, August 30th, Bishop Barres along with Deacon Richard celebrated the 10:00AM Mass with us. Bishop Barres gave a great homily asking all of us to consider the special crucifix we relate to in our lives. He also referenced a book by Caryll Houselander, "The Reed of God" and an article by Brea O'Donnell, "NYC's Hottest New Club is the Catholic Mass" April 2026.

It's with great sadness that we bid farewell to Fr. Michael on September 1st. As a small token of appreciation we are collecting rosaries to send back home with him to share in his ministries. You can drop them off to the Parish Center today Friday the 28th until 12:30PM or leave them in the basket in Church at the front pew. Just rosaries please. Thank you!

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 15th is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. As it falls on a weekend it is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year.

Father in heaven,
all creation rightly gives you praise,
for all life and all holiness comes from you.
In the plan of your wisdom
she who bore the Christ in her womb
was raised body and soul in glory to be with Him in heaven.
May we follow her example in reflecting your holiness
and join in her hymn of endless love and praise.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
