Hello friends
I just uploaded the interview with Michael T. Cibenko, writer and author of the book Masaru.

After graduating from The University of Montana in '96, Michael spent four years teaching English in rural southern Japan. During this time he was inspired by the history of Christianity there. His first novel, Masaru, is based on the events of the 17th century Shimabara Rebellion, and the person of Shiro Amakusa, the teenage convert samurai who became a leader in the cause. Michael lives in northwest New Jersey where he has been an educator for the past twenty years.

Contrary to common understanding many adults are baptized in Catholic Church. It happens the night before Easter every year all around the world in Catholic congregations.

Catholics welcome adults into the church through a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The church teaches that through the application of water -- baptism -- a believer is cleansed from sins and begins a new life. Before baptism, adults undergo a preparatory period to introduce them to the church's teachings, creeds and prayers. The baptism ceremony is public and is usually held during the Easter Vigil service on the day before Easter.

Tonight we received many new members to the one and only true Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Many blessings
