Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed, Alleluia!

With our Easter Celebration this morning we wrapped up the Lenten fast and the watch of Holy Week. Over the next three days, pastor will be resting.

If there is an emergency, do not hesitate to call! If there is not an emergency, please wait until Thursday morning to reach out with any questions or to set up an appointment.

Happy Easter, enjoy basking in the glory of the Resurrection of our Lord!

Good morning beloved children of God! Today is the Easter Vigil Service @ 3:00 pm at Gethsemane!

If you've never experienced this service, I highly encourage you to do so. It is the culmination of the Triduum (the one service spread out over three days from Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday).

This service is longer than typical services. I do not say that as an excuse for anyone not to come!! I say this only so that you are not caught off guard.

Do not let extended time keep you from this service. In fact, the proper attitude would be to rejoice in the opportunity to dwell in the presence of the Lord's House where He comes to meet us with His mercy.

The Easter Vigil is one of the oldest services in the history of the Church. Come, let us worship Him!

Good Friday Service at 6:30 pm.

I'm sharing here a hymn that we will be singing tonight. For a lot of people this hymn is unfamiliar. Thank you to our wonderful organist Judy, who over the last few weeks has been playing the melody of this hymn at various points in our services as the offering music, prelude or postlude.

You can familiarize yourself with it by listening here. This hymn is one of the most beautiful and powerful hymns in our hymnal!
