Tonight we look at the first few verses in chapter 7 of Romans. We'll be discussing, in continuous and developing fashion, the doctrine of Grace, the Law of God, the New Covenant of Christ (in His blood), and much more. As we begin to approach the half way point of this incredible letter, let's be sure to stay in the context of both this inspired work of God through the Apostle Paul AND the remainder of Scripture, both in the New and the Old Testaments, so as to NOT arrive or conclude in some erronious doctrine or position that is outside of that which has been revealed to us through Holy Scripture. Amen. And let's enjoy our time together in His Word.

Tonight we wrap up chapter 6 of Romans. We will be discussing slavery to sin or slavery to righteousness. Furthermore, we will look at God's free gift (eternal life/salvation) and the result of rejecting God's Gift (Jesus Christ) and how that relates directly with death (being separtated from God). Lastly, we will answer the question, "Why would anyone be concerned about their sin?" AND how if anyone person turns to Christ, he/she will no longer have the spiritual blindness that we are all born into. Let's enjoy our time together in God's Word! Amen.

As we look back at last week's Bible Study lesson and verses, (re-read verses 11 & 12), let's enjoy our discussion of God's Word here in chapter 6, verses 13-19. Tonight we will be encouraged to present our entire life, all of our various faculties in this life, our time, talent, treasure, all of ourselves, to the Lord for purposes of righteousness. The principle is "whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap." (Galatians 6:7-8) Psalm 103:11-12 tells us of how merciful and faithful God is to forgive us all our sins and shortcomings. Let's enjoy our time together in His Word! Amen.

Greetings! Tonight we continue our journey through the letter to the Romans. After having looked at 12 baptisms in Scripture (the last two weeks), we will be turning our attention to discussing the new life found in JESUS Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit at work within the believer. The idea is dying completely to the old way of living, thinking, BEING, and coming ALIVE to the new life lived in and through JESUS Christ, by way of the indwelling Holy Spirit and the power of the Word of God at work in our day-to-day life. Let's enjoy our time together in God's Word.
