Welcome to this morning's online worship service from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in North Easton, Mass. Today we kick off our "Season of Creation" - a special series of services in September that intentionally honor God's creation. This year's overall theme is "Living Water," and we will focus on Forest, Land, Wilderness, and Rivers over the next few weeks, culminating with our special Blessing of the Animals service in early October.

Welcome to this morning's livestream from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Bristol Trinity Episcopal Church, our sister congregation! This week marks the third week in the pulpit for our new pastor, Rev. Kaylie Ines, and we're excited to come together for this joint worship service.

Pastor Kaylie comes to Holy Trinity from Kansas, where she served two ELCA congregations while also working as an on-call hospital chaplain. Her ministry is grounded in compassionate pastoral care, collaborative leadership, community engagement, and helping people connect their faith with everyday life. She also has a passion for caring for God's creation and building strong partnerships within the wider community.

This Sunday marks a joyful new beginning for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church!

We're excited to welcome Rev. Kaylie Hope Ines as our new pastor and invite you to join us for her first Sunday leading worship at 9:45 a.m.

Pastor Kaylie comes to Holy Trinity from Kansas, where she served two ELCA congregations while also working as an on-call hospital chaplain. Her ministry is grounded in compassionate pastoral care, collaborative leadership, community engagement, and helping people connect their faith with everyday life. She also has a passion for caring for God's creation and building strong partnerships within the wider community.

After worship, stay for a special coffee hour as we welcome Pastor Kaylie to Holy Trinity and to Massachusetts.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has voted unanimously to call Rev. Kaylie Hope Ines as the congregation’s next pastor following a weekend of worship, fellowship, and community events held May 16–17.

Pastor Ines currently serves two Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregations in rural Kansas and brings experience in parish ministry, campus ministry, youth and children’s ministry, pastoral care, and community engagement. She is a graduate of Bethany College and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, where she also completed studies in environmental and creation-focused ministry.

Rev. Ines is currently planning her move from Kansas to Massachusetts and is expected to formally begin her ministry at Holy Trinity in late July. A Service of Installation will be scheduled in early fall.
