St Mark Lutheran Church (WELS) strives by God's grace to be a congregation that is Christ-centered Eternal life in heaven belongs to all who believe in him.

We are:
Christ-centered: We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who offered his life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world and then boldly rose from the dead on Easter. Confessional: We believe that God has preserved and passed down to us a precious heritage from the Reformation. So we believe that the Lutheran Confessions are correct and tru in their exposition of God's Word. Committed: We believe that the Holy Spirit has not promised to create and strengthen faith in any other way than through his Word and the Sacraments. We are committed to upholding the Bible as 100% inspired without mistake or error. Compelled: We believe that Chrsit's love compels us our actions of thanksgiving and gratitude. So we worship our God regularly. We come together to study his Word in formal Christian education. We share our faith with the people around us. In fact, God's people strive to do all "for the glory of God" (I Corinthians 10:31).

Discover a service designed to enrich the worship experience for individuals with disabilities. This initiative employs pictures, symbols, and ample space for movement. Join us for Worship at the Cross every first Monday of the month at 6 PM. Join us November 2nd, 2026 at 6pm!

Jesus told his followers, “You will be hated by everyone because of me” (Matthew 10:22). So, the time between Christ’s first and second coming is going to be perilous for believers. A good example: Martin Luther. All that priest wanted was to share the pure gospel with the world. For trying to do just that, both political and religious leaders wanted to end his life. The Festival of the Reformation emphasizes our unfailing reliance on the Word of God. We give unflinching testimony to that Word even in the face of persecution. Today we pray that the Lord would keep us steadfast in the faith.

When you know that the end is approaching, what’s the most important thing you can do? Some would say that the vital thing is to concentrate on your relationships.
The most important part of your personal relationship with God is the forgiveness of sins you have through faith in Jesus. The most important thing you can offer the most important people in your life is forgiveness. The beginning of the end is a good time to put the Lord’s Prayer into practice and forgive as you have been forgiven.

The Diet of Worms was a great event for the Reformation of the church, where Martin Luther stood before the Holy Roman Emperor Charles and declared that he would not recant his teachings about salvation by faith alone. In celebration, our friends and food theme for October will be a diet of worms and other fine dishes, as a few members will be bringing dirt pie and other fun dishes. If you would like to join us, and bring a dish that would represent the Reformation, or is just fun, please do join us October 18th, following worship.

New bible study from WELS Women's Ministry!

The book of Acts is often known as “The Acts of the Apostles,” but a better title might be “The Acts of the Holy Spirit.” Through this work of the Holy Spirit, the early Christians were empowered to proclaim the gospel message, and the Word of God spread. This work of the Holy Spirit continues today—work that also empowers modern-day Christians (us!) to proclaim the gospel message. By considering the accounts in the book of Acts in light of their own circumstances, relationships, and opportunities, participants will consider how they might rejoice in the joy of the resurrection and then reflect this gospel joy to those around them. Please join us this fall for this four-week study!
