Dear God, thank You for this day, and thank You for Your word that reminds me to share Your goodness with this world, not just in my heart, but with my life. Your word in Psalm 96:2-3 says, “Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” God, I know I get busy with responsibilities and life, and sometimes I forget how urgent it is to share You with the people around me. Give me a new song in my heart today, one that overflows into sharing Your goodness with at least one person I encounter. As I step into this day, fill my heart with gratitude for everything You’ve done, everything You’re doing, and simply who You are. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things! -Romans 10:15

Dear God, thank You for this new week and for choosing to breathe life into me again. This year has been full of blessings, but also full of challenges, and I know I’ve only kept going because of You, not my own strength. Your word in Colossians 1:17 says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” God, I thank You for holding me together through everything I’ve been carrying. Your promise in Revelation 21:4 reminds me that You’re never blind to my tears or deaf to my prayers, and that gives me hope as I step into this week. I don’t fully understand what You’re doing, but I trust You knew it from the beginning. I’ll keep putting my hope in Your word and waiting on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever. -Psalm 138:8

Christ Is the Perfect Sacrifice

Hebrews 9:11 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. 12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.✝️

Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m reminding myself that my peace is something I get to keep, not something I have to give away to people who don’t appreciate it. Your word in Matthew 10:14 says, “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.” God, help me recognize when it’s time to simply walk away instead of arguing with someone who isn’t willing to listen. I don’t want to leave tonight without my peace because I gave it to someone who wasn’t going to guard it. Help me hold onto what You’ve given me and protect it the way You would. I give this night to You. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. -Proverbs 15:1

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for the free gift of salvation that alone is enough reason to praise You. Your word in Philippians 4:11 says, “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.” God, help me examine my faith today and be honest with myself. Am I following You because of who You are, or only because of what I want You to fix? I don’t want to treat You like a genie who owes me answers on my timeline. Even if the situation doesn’t change the way I’m hoping, Your glory is still greater than anything this life can throw at me. Help me love You for who You are, not just for what You can do for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. -Philippians 4:11

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20✝️

Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I think about King Solomon and how he could have asked You for anything, but he asked for wisdom instead. Your word in 1 Kings 3:9 says, “Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil.” God, I want that same heart tonight. I don’t just want to know what to do, I want the wisdom to actually do it well. Help me spend more time seeking You so that You can expand what You’ve called me to and equip me for things I don’t yet know how to handle on my own. Establish in me what only Your wisdom can build. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. -James 1:5

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for the hope of what’s still to come. Your word in Matthew 13:43 says, “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” God, whatever I’m carrying today, sickness, weakness, or anxiety, none of it compares to the glory that’s waiting for me. Help me lift my eyes above the weight of this world and remember that I’m being transformed to reflect Christ Himself. I don’t want to let the hard things I’m facing pull my focus down when eternity is right in front of me. Thank You for the reminder that what I’m walking through now is nothing compared to what’s coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. -Romans 8:18
