GOD purposed & called Pastor Henry Webb & his wife Sherita Webb to leave COGIC to start their own church The Living Faith Church (LFC) in Huntersville neighborhood of Norfolk, Va. The Webb family had sacrificed their lives for the start of something greater, a inner city nontraditional Church ministry. It was a successful inner city outreach ministry that was both evangelistic and Holy Spirit led
with a powerful music ministry. Even Alicia Unique (Webb) and Anointed Song & Webb Family, many local & professional groups were influenced or even got their start at this church. LFC (& NLFC) was mostly a mix of inner city Youth and some adults as well.Jesus Christ saved, healed, and delivered many people from drugs, alcohol, & violence at LFC & NLFC. Even Captain Rick Boone & Darlene Boone and Michael Webb (who was ordained by NLFC Pastor Webb) were apart of this LFC/ NLFC & trained there in inner city & local church ministry before joining the Salvation Army. In Dec. 2001, LFC and Pastor Webb's family lost almost everything material in an electrical fire started on its own. After the fire, LFC became New Living Faith Church. Many things occurred that prevented them from immediate rebuilding a new facility. However; the NLFC vision never stopped! NLFC began doing more ministry and organizing outreaches various churches in many communities and they helped other churches as well. In fact, the Salvation Army has been dear friend and help to NLFC and vise versa. Pastor Webb & mrs Sherita Webb and family minister often at out of churches and in churches. Today, Pastor Webb serves as a Chaplain for The local Salvation Army's ARC Rehab. His son Michael Webb is a SAMS (outreach & local missions) minister at the Salvation Army Kroc in Norfolk and he assist with the music and outreach ministries. Pastor & first lady Webb's daughters including Alicia (Unique) Webb (recording artists) also assist them by ministering in music. Since the fire of 2001, Pastor Henry Webb & his wife Sherita Webb have mentored and still mentor other pastors and pastoral couples until this very day! They traveled more to do ministry! God is love, Holy, Just, a Healer, Creator of all that has and will exist, & He cares for you. We believe that the New & Old Testaments of the Bible alone are God's Holy Word and the absolute authority for all Christian living and lifestyle practices. We believe & teach that there is only One True Living God. Jesus Christ is God in flesh/ Son of God who was physically born miraculously by God the Father to a virgin named Mary by the power of God the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost (NOT by any s*xual act). Later, as a man Jesus died on the cross and He rose from the dead three days later. Repent and believe in the gospel; for God's Kingdom is at hand.
