Good Evening Metro:
Per Resolution 59-2026-1 adopted during Year 2 of the Conference's 59th Administration at Metro Honors, February 2026:

The body adopted the resolution honoring Reverend Dr. Theodore R. Little, Jr. Pastor-Emeritus, Dome of Canaan Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Virginia, as The Most Senior Past-President of Metro.

This honor was bestowed and the Annual Day of Metro set as his Birthday, July 2. At the time of the adoption, he was 87 years old!

This year, July 2, he turned 88 years old. Let us celebrate this Metro Milestone and pray for this, our Conference Brother who shares the common bond of the clergy cloth.

Let us pray for him-Reverend Dr. Theodore Roosevelt Little, Jr.’51, The Most Senior Past-President of Metro as we celebrate Rev. Dr. Theodore R. Little, Jr. Day
