This morning we got back into the corn field to looks for stragglers. We came out with 214.7lbs more corn on the cob. It has been a while but here are some harvest numbers: this WEEK we harvested 5,210.7lbs of produce to help feed people in the area. Our total this year SO FAR is 12,130.6lbs. Last year our total harvest was 14,442lbs so I'm betting we pass it. My goal this year is 20,000lbs of produce. Will we make it? Only time will tell!

While we are farming in the states this time of year, our partners in India continue to minister as the Lord leads them. The attached video is from one of our partner churches. The pastor is describing the roof, which is a peice of plastic draped over bamboo. As you can see it is not very effective at keeping the rain out. We would like to help this church build a roof of steel and tin. The cost is around $400. If you would like to help fund this project please visit our website to donate or drop us a line!

It was a busy morning at the farm with Ozarks Food Harvest!

We are in the midst of onion season. We harvested 2 of our 100 foot rows. Whats your guess on the weight of the onions harvested today? (Not including the 625lbs of storage onions mentioned in the video- just this morning's harvest!)

Recently something came through and ate the majority of our eggplants. I set up a game camera on a few of the plants left to try to figure out the culprit. Apparently, this spot is a wildlife super highway. The last one was a real surprise!
