This past week we celebrated a kid that is still in kids church who has raised over $5K for missions! 1. Never question how much a kid can do. 2. This is how the church moves forward in its mission to win the world, sacrificial participation. There is so much left to be done and God is raising up the next generation to take their place on the front lines.

We had such a great weekend in Emporia, KS. The Encarnacion family has become special friends. Crazy how after all those years in the DR, we end up 4 hours apart in the US. We arrived at their home at 2:45 on Saturday and talked nonstop til 9:45. Grateful for the people that God brings across our paths during every season of life. Very fun to speak in their church on Sunday. (But very different speaking in English with a translator!).

Huge thank you to C3AG in Louisville and Pastor Darren Lewis, and leadership team. A church with a big heart for the whole world. They've been supporters for over 7 years in every sense of the word. Loved being a part of worship with them today. Thanks for the opportunity to share our hearts for missions, for Evangel, and for the future. Beautiful word from Dr Renee Girdler. Thankful for the leadership and kindness of the Girdlers. The Kentucky Ministry Network is blessed.

Today was Evangel's baccalaureate and graduation. This year hit differently. Some of these students we have had the privilege of mentoring. Some have served and ministered with us. Some have gone on missions trips with us. Some have been in my class. Many we have prayed with and for. This is why we are here. To walk with....for a season. The best is yet to come!

This afternoon was the Commissioning service for both Evangel and AGTS, celebrating those that majored/minored in Biblical studies, theology, or other ministry areas. Beautiful perspective: Pentecost is not in opposition to education. The order just has to be right. We bring our knowledge and experience and giftings and lay them down at the feet of Jesus. He is the only one who transforms. He is our why. Yet our education adds powerful tools that He can use to bring that transformation to us AND to those around us. It was an honor to pray over some of these graduates today!

These are student ministries leaders that bring so much joy to all we do at Evangel. First and foremost, they are the kind of people you want in the room. Men and women of character with big dreams. Anointed, teachable, educated, humble, and wanting God to be exalted in their generation. Partnering with them to serve on and off campus is a gift. The Kingdom is better with them. (And they are simply a small representation of the great students on campus that are saying Yes to the Father's ask.)

Final celebration with the Global Students team. (missing a few faces). Hard to overstate the impact this group has had on campus as we have fought for the international community. I'm beyond grateful. When students find a place to belong, they are much more open to all that God has for their lives. This team continues to intentionally pursue the 60+ global students on campus for that very purpose. Proud to serve with them.

Today was a super special day as 9 members of the Achieve program graduated. These are amazing young men and women with disabilities who are on campus developing life skills for their future. I had the great honor to recognize one of them for leading an on campus small group for his friends. May God continue blessing and growing this ministry and Mrs Melissa who leads it!

Relationships are always the most important. From a final Community Engagement team meeting to a Student Ministries leadership team dinner (no pic) to an end of year Choir concert, it is the people that we celebrate. I'm just so impressed by the quality of students that I get to be around: character, heart, vision, talent, dedication, and more. God continues to say "I will build my church."
