First day of Summer Stretch was a success! Our Middle School youth and parent volunteers helped at Feed My Starving Children this morning! They did a fun activity over lunch at Lake Susan Park and then finished the day off at Shakopee Bowl!

Lord, we ask that this morning is a reminder to how good we really have it, how as middle school youth we can make a small difference in a big way, how we are asked to surrender to you everything that we are and everything that we are striving to be.
Lord, we open our deepest recesses of our hearts and invite your Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us. We offer you our life, heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, all our hopes, plans, and dreams.
Lord, help us to see Your hand in all things. May we find joy in serving You and others, knowing that in doing so, we fulfill Your holy will. Amen.

The Faith Formation Department is busy making sure Faith stays a top priority for our youth this summer.
30 tickets were purchased for the Steubenville conference at St. Thomas University July 24-26. We currently have 3 open spots remaining. This is for youth entering 9th grade through our graduating seniors.

Testimonies from last year:
It was my first time going to the Steubenville Conference and it made a world of a difference in my faith. I had never been to an event this size for Catholics and it gave me a new found love for my faith. The speakers at the event made the conference very fun and widened my perspective of Catholicism. Though, my favorite part of the event would have to be the music. Each time they would call people to come up for music, I was always the first up; I would run and get right up to the stage. Overall, I had an amazing experience there and am very excited to have the opportunity to go again, this time bringing along extra friends of mine.

The Steubenville Conference was a really meaningful experience for me. Being surrounded by so many other teens who share the same faith was inspiring and encouraging. The speakers, worship, and time for reflection helped me think more deeply about my relationship with God and how I can live out my faith in everyday life. It was a powerful reminder that faith is something we are meant to live and share with others. I will admit, I didn't want to go at first, but my parents made me. I am so glad they did.

What a beautiful, grace-filled day for our parish family! 🙏✨

We began our Corpus Christi celebration with a solemn outdoor procession, walking together to publicly witness our faith and adore the Blessed Sacrament. It was incredibly moving to see so many families, our young flower girls, and parishioners of all generations lining the path in prayer.

Following the procession, we gathered for our annual parish picnic—and it was an absolute blast! From the delicious food line to the sounds of laughter filling the lawn, community spirit was in full supply.

The highlight of the afternoon? Father Theisen brave-heartedly stepping into the dunk tank! 💦🎯

After a few close calls and some very determined young pitchers, someone finally hit the bullseye and sent Father splashing into the water to the cheers of the crowd! A huge thank you to Father Theisen for being such a good sport, and to everyone who helped organize, cook, and clean up to make today so special.

What a beautiful, grace-filled day for our parish family! 🙏✨
