Immaculée’s journey of faith began in 1994 during the Rwandan genocide that claimed the lives of her loved ones. For 91 days, she and seven other women huddled silently together in the cramped bathroom of a local pastor. It was during those days of unspeakable terror that Immaculée discovered the power of prayer and forging a profound and lasting relationship with God.

The triumphant story of this remarkable woman’s journey will inspire anyone and instill a sense of courageously unconditional love. This once-in-a-lifetime event was created to inspire, educate and transform our community through Immaculée’s story of faith, hope, and forgiveness.

The event is hosted by The Gina Tupy Legacy Foundation and their mission to "Make Jesus Known and Loved."

We could really use some more trunks for this Saturday’s trunk or treat event… PLEASE consider opening your trunk, decorating it a bit, getting some candy, and passing it out to the littles of our parish. This could be such a fun family event… teaching your children to give, as well as get. 
