Things that technology said should make our lives better, such as social media, have actually made us less social.

Pastor Amber can run her whole life from her phone. Calendar, email, bills, Bible, FaceTime. But what you cannot do from behind a screen is get a hug, or hold hands and pray with someone.

You can't use your feelings to interpret Scripture. Meditate on Scripture to interpret your feelings. It's the opposite of what most of us do.

Your feelings are fickle. If you ate pizza for breakfast this morning and it didn't sit right, you can feel completely differently by lunch.

If you're chasing a feeling, you're probably not facing the reality.
