Kids' Zone

Kids' Zone A fun, safe environment for students to learn about Jesus! Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome! Students may ride the bus to New Market.

This program offers a variety of Bible lessons, food, and activities for students to enjoy on Clarinda School District early-out days for Professional Development, 1:30 - 5:00 p.m. Please provide a note if this is not your student’s normal route. If school has an early out or cancellation on a date of Kid’s Zone due to weather, Kid’s Zone will not meet. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged!

What a fun day on Friday! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and to all the kids who came to Kid Zone! We started off with great singing and worship led by Emily; she always has a great message for the kids! Then we went to breakfast, and we had amazing kitchen volunteers who made an awesome breakfast and lunch and an Easter and spring-themed snack. Then we went to our activities; our mission project and craft pictures are below. A big thank you to all our game volunteers at the pavilion. We went into the afternoon seeing a fire truck. Thank you to the New Market Fire Department for bringing the truck, and a big thank you to Chelsa for having a fun exercise kid class, and our last event was an Easter egg hunt! Thank you to everyone who helped and everyone that came to Kid Zone!

Tomorrow is Kid Zone! We will be packing bags for Arkansas and look at just a few of these fun bags your child will get to choose from and send to another child in Arkansas. Also using fake eggs, we will be coloring an egg. We will also have a super cute craft to take home. The New Market Fire Department will be bringing their fire truck for the kids to see, and we will be having a fun exercise class, games, and more, finished by having an Easter egg hunt. You do not want to miss this, so make sure your child is registered. We will see everyone tomorrow.
