St. John Lutheran Church Sent To Reveal Gods Love To The World
Glorify God, Serve Others,
Imitate Our Savior! Sunday Worship God loves us so much that He gave us another chance.

As Lutheran Christians we believe that God has made us as His own dear children, but human beings fell into sin and death. That “chance” was God sending His only begotten Son to live the perfect life we could never live, and then He (Jesus) took our punishment upon Himself. Jesus suffered, died and rose again from the dead to redeem us, lost sinners. On our own we do not have the power to believe,

so God gave us His Holy spirit which creates faith in us, and gives us the power to believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, the only way to be saved. God tells us about His plan of salvation and about His love for us in His own Word, the Bible, which is our only source of knowledge about our God. Following God’s Word we now have the opportunity to do as He asks of us, out of thanksgiving for all the blessings He has granted to us. We are saved by grace, and not by works!

Joyce Meyer, who passed away earlier in October. The funeral for Joyce will be on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025. More information will be coming.

Dora Steeve, who passed away on Oct. 26, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 2 from 2-4 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Funeral will be Monday, Nov. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

May the Lord give assurance and peace to each of the families and all the friends and neighbors. May the power of the Lord's resurrection bring comfort in the midst of the time of mourning.
