The Bishop Kennetha Bigham-Tsai and her appointive cabinet would like to announce that Pastor Pierre Omadjela will be appointed to Corning-New Market UMC, as our next pastor, effective July 1, 2026. The Bishop and her appointive cabinet have discerned that Pastor Pierre Omadjela is a missional match for our congregations and has the gifts and abilities to help us live into our missional priorities. District Superintendent Kwang Song asks that you continue to keep Pastor Pierre Omadjela, his family and all the congregations in your prayers during this season of transition.

Holy Week is the final week of the Lenten season, in which we commemorate the passion, death, and burial of Jesus Christ, including his entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, and his crucifixion. This week invites us into deeper reflection and prayer as we prepare our hearts and minds for Easter Sunday.
