Rebika was in one of the school buses which got swept away by the flash flood on 26th Aug. She was washed down along with muddy water and debris. Somebody saw a little hand trying to wave, body cover under the mud and hanging in the broken hanging bridge. With little hope the villagers even before the rescue team arrived the place, they reached to check the hand and found Rebika fighting for her life. Her mother shared with tears, God saved her even when she didn’t realized she was missing. Please pray for Rebika’s complete healing.

From our 2nd Partner in Nepal, who was on the far side of the river. Not the same team as the last post.

Yes Didi, it was truly heartbreaking to see the condition of the people. They are carrying such deep sorrow, fear, and confusion. Almost everywhere we visited, we saw people still living in fear and shock. It felt like their hearts had not yet been able to understand what had happened.

Many of them were going back almost every day to the riverside, standing and staring at the river, trying to recognize the place where their homes once stood and where they had everything just a few days ago. Some could hardly believe that everything they had worked for and built over many years could disappear in such a short time.

We saw people sitting beside the river for hours, quietly looking at the water. You could see the fear in their faces—they were afraid that the river might rise again and take away whatever little they still have left.

It was not only the loss of houses and belongings; they have lost their sense of security. Many are sleeping with fear, wondering what will happen if the river comes again. The pain is very real, and for many, the wounds are still very fresh.

Being there and seeing it with our own eyes was very difficult. It reminded us how fragile life is and how much these families need not only practical help, but also someone to stand with them, listen to them, pray with them, and remind them that they are not forgotten.

We are praying that Lord will show and provide us for whatever little we can do, they will experience the love, comfort, and hope of Christ in the midst of this terrible season. 🙏

Our partners went to three different relief centers today. It was quite an emotional day for them, so many people in such tragic situations. In one government center, on one side of the building the people are living, on the other side they are storing the dead bodies! Hospitals and morgues are overwhelmed. They report the stench is so bad it can be smelled throughout the town. Please pray for these people and for resources from other countries to help them deal with this tragedy. We will be sending more relief supplies as funds come in and we will be on the ground in October.

As you lay your head down tonight, please send up a prayer for the people displaced in Nepal from the floods and the distribution that will be done while you sleep (as they are 12 hours ahead). Our partners will deliver: on the Kathmandu side of the river, to Trishuli bazaar area. One Pastor has opened his church there are 300 children there! With nothing to do no clothing and little food. We are Distributing a little of everything. Thank you for those who have donated there is still great need! DM me if you're interested in more information

The children! Our national contacts in Nepal have been updating us each day. They have been able to get closer to the area impacted by the floods. The reports are heartbreaking. We have been praying about where Frontline Resources in partnership with them should concentrate our resources as the need and area are so great. Trishuli area near the bazaar. One Church leader has opened his church and there are over 300 children coming to be fed and housed nearby along with new mothers and hundreds of others of course. But many of these children have either been separated from their families who are on the other side of the river or have lost entire families. One brother and sister lost 17 members of their family and have no one now. It's all tragic. So we have decided to concentrate on the children. In October we will be bringing in teams if you're interested please DM me will be raising money for winter blankets and clothing it gets cold there come winter at the base of the Himalayas. Please pray about how you and your church can be partnering with us this season.

We just spoke to one of our partners on the ground. It is so much more than we are hearing or seeing even on the news. Please continue to pray for Nepal and the resources they will need to reach people and help them. Some areas have not even had one visit from any rescue teams or relief efforts. We have people on the ground surveying and coming up with viable plans to help those who have been affected. Funds are needed and possibly some teams coming in October or November. A sudden surge in the Bhote Koshi river has damaged settlements and infrastructure in Timure and Syabrubesi, with authorities warning of rising water levels and possible flooding downstream along the Trishuli river.
