In a move both symbolic & deeply spiritual, the Bishops of the United States of America have voted to consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as part of the country’s 250th anniversary celebration in 2026. On June 12, this act of consecration will take place on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart. As our nation prepares to commemorate its founding, this consecration will serve as a reflection, a renewal and a reminder that liberty without love risks becoming isolation. The freedom envisioned in 1776 finds its deepest roots in the Gospel’s call to communion and service. Join Christ the King Parish on June 12 for Eucharistic adoration at 6 pm, confession at 6:30 pm and Mass at 7 pm.
