This week, the new carpet in our fellowship area outside the sanctuary has been installed. We are thankful for the two men who did all the work. And we are thankful for our congregation who gave the donations to make this possible. It looks beautiful!

Hello Friends,

The cooling station will be open Sunday, August 30 and Monday, August 31, which are the final days of the cooling station.

You may remember that the cooling station season was June 1 - August 31. For the season, we have been open 40 days (including next Sunday and Monday), and we have welcome 71 guests (excluding the number of people that will show up next week). Thank you for your support and care to make the cooling station possible this summer!

We know that there will be some hot days in September, so we will direct people to the library for a place to rest and the resources of their food panty. We are also thankful of our partnership with Hope Southern Indiana who offers care and resources as well. And soon we will welcome the fall season and prepare for the upcoming White Flag Shelter season.

Hello Friends,

The cooling station will be closed Sunday, August 23 - Saturday, August 29.

We are so thankful that it is starting to cool down.

And of course, we will continue to monitor the weather and update the status of the cooling station as needed.

Also remember, we now have TARC tickets available at Hope Southern Indiana and The Floyd County Library, so people can access Culbertson Baptist Church. We will also have TARC tickets at the cooling station for people to have a ride from the church.

The community station is available and welcoming to all people, while the TARC tickets are for New Albany residents. Please reach out, if you have any questions about the TARC tickets.
