Annual camp is not possible without a community of volunteers, donors and ministry partners.

Our camp had the honor of having First Harrison Bank as our dinner meal sponsor tonight. Without their support this meal would not have happened. We can not take you enough!

Day 1: Wild God

We had an amazing start to Annual Camp yesterday! Campers jumped right into an exciting first day filled with fun, worship, and powerful teaching.

Yesterday, we introduced the core theme for the week: we serve a Wild God — a God whose power and love cannot be stopped by anything. There are no limits, barriers, enemies, or circumstances that can stand in the way of His plans. Our prayer is that campers leave this week with a deeper understanding of just how powerful and personal God truly is.

We wrapped up the evening with a fun-filled Cowboy Night, complete with a mechanical bull and plenty of laughs and memories made with friends.

Week Two of our summer season was one for the books! ☀️

This past week, we had the privilege of hosting the American Heritage Girls troops 1911, 1410, 1031, and 4012 at camp. With over 160 campers on site, the week was filled with adventure, learning, fellowship, and fun!

🏅 Countless badges were earned
🔥 Memories were made
🙌 Faith and friendships continued to grow

The American Heritage Girls are such a meaningful part of our summer season. We are deeply thankful for this amazing group and the opportunity to spend another week serving, encouraging, and growing alongside them each year.

Summer is here at Silver Heights!

As we wrapped up spring and entered camp season, God continued to provide in incredible ways. From hosting amazing ministry partners and volunteer teams, to completing important campus projects and fully funding our camp goals, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for all that has been accomplished together.

What an incredible way to kick off our summer season! ☀️

This week, we had the privilege of hosting the Ukrainian Pentecostal Church of Lexington, KY Church for Teen Camp—and this marks the 5th year in a row they have helped tee off our summer season at Silver Heights.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner in ministry with this amazing group each year. It is always a joy to see lives impacted, friendships built, and faith strengthened through their time at camp.

Thank you for continuing to make Silver Heights a part of your summer tradition. We are grateful for your partnership for the Gospel and can’t wait for another incredible season ahead! 🙌

What an incredible afternoon at Teaching & Tea: The Bold and the Beautiful! ☕🌸

We are so thankful for everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and helped make this event such a meaningful success. Jennifer Omerso shared a powerful message encouraging women to live with both boldness and beauty in their walk with Christ, and we are grateful for the impact her words had on all who attended.

Because of your generosity, we were able to raise over $2,000 in camper sponsorships for Annual Camp at Silver Heights Camp! 🎉

These funds will help provide a free, life-changing week of camp for youth in our community, and we could not do it without your support.

What a weekend at Silver Heights! 🙌

This past weekend was absolutely packed with activity as we hosted:
📚 Silver Heights Summer Staff Training
🔥 American Heritage Girls Troop IN1911,1410,4012 Training
⛺ Annual Camp Counselor Training

In addition to all the training events happening across camp, we also had an amazing volunteer work day with First Harrison Bank! Together, we were able to:
🧼 Deep clean the Parnell Center kitchen
🌱 Prepare the garden beds for summer

We also want to thank Estes Excavating Inc for helping make important corrections to our gravel drive. 🚜

It was a BIG weekend to say the least, and we are incredibly grateful for every volunteer, staff member, partner, and supporter who continues to invest in this ministry and property.
