Compassion = Love and Care for All!
The world was given God’s “gift” of compassion by Jesus’ love and care for all, and as we say at St. John’s, “All means all!” We will celebrate God’s “gift” this Sunday as we focus on how we love and care for our unhoused sisters and brothers through the Room In The Inn ministry.
We will also celebrate God’s “gift” as lived by Dolly Parton. Not only did Dolly write and perform the song, “I Will Always Love You”, she lived God’s compassion. She loved and cared for all.
You are invited to join us in worship this Sunday as we thank God for God’s amazing “gift” of grace - and as we thank God for Dolly Parton’s witness. Our worship time is 9:00am. Come join us. We are located at 3259 McGavock Pike in Nashville, TN

Make A Joyful Noise Sunday at St. John’s. Our service was filled with music thanking God for all God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit has done for the world through their “All Means All” love. Following “their” example we are to “Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God” (Micah 6:8) by singing our praises - to grow Jesus’ Church on “their” all-inclusive love to bring more unity, peace, hope, and joy into our world. Come join us.

I was blessed to be one of the keynote speakers at the United 4 Hope and Operation Andrew meeting today. They are community coordinators for Metro Nashville Public Schools. I spoke about the five Metro Schools we partner with and the importance of working with our community to help our children learn and grow. I specifically spoke on how we are striving to address the ever-growing food insecurity issue and how it affects children’s learning. I am so thankful for this opportunity and for all St. John’s is doing to make a difference in our children’s lives. We are blessed to be a blessing.
