The love found at 61st Avenue UMC continues to grow! Jacob Graham is now on a path to becoming clergy!

Jacob Graham in the middle, begins the candidacy process at our charge conference tonight! Prayers for his discernment.

Please pray for Bobby Hargrove, who lost longtime love Mary Haggard this past Saturday. Graveside service at Harpeth Hills cemetery tomorrow (10-17-18) at 10 am.

Sad to report a loss in the Glencliff extended family: Mary Haggard (longtime love of member Bobby Hargrove) passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 13. There will be a graveside service tomorrow (Wednesday, October 17), 10 am at Harpeth Hills cemetery. Please keep Bobby and also Mary's family in prayer.

It's time for a reunion! Tomorrow (8/18/18) at 4 pm at Glencliff United Methodist Church, meal and music, with friends from Franklin Fumc bringing the meal and all of us bringing the love. Our friend Angie Martinez, who passed away earlier this year, cared for many neighborhood cats - making sure they were fed, vaccinated, spayed and neutered. But there was one who was expecting and since has had kittens. Angie's good friends Sheilah and Rosanna have taken such good care of them all -

This is being posted as an update and a word of thanks and blessing.

The congregation of 61st Ave United Methodist Church is thankful for all the love and support that has been shown to us over our many years of ministry to The Nations community, West Nashville, the Greater Nashville area and the larger community beyond Tennessee.

We have been blessed to extend the love of Jesus Christ to so many children, families, and individuals, through various ministries, in collaboration with many individuals and ministry partners.

We were blessed through our ministries and ministry partners to have shown the Light of Love, Light of Caring, Light of unconditional love, while being a Light in The Nations.
