How heavy is this glass?
Does it even matter? It's all about how long you hold onto it. A minute is nothing. An hour is a pain. A whole day is a nightmare. Then you put it down and breathe easy. Worries are the same. Think about them briefly and you're fine. Dwell on them all day and they become a weighty burden. What's one weighty burden you're still carrying around that you need to let go of? Wonderful message Richard. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control ~ Galatians 5:22–23—aren’t things to stress about. They’re signs of spiritual maturity. Like a branch connected to the vine, growth happens naturally. You don’t have to figure everything out. Take it to the Lord in prayer and trust Him. Keep trusting even when you can't see the road ahead. Keep praying even when it seems like nothing's happening. Keep moving forward one day at a time. God is working behind the scenes to bring things together.

A special guest speaker and author, Michael McCray, will be featured at the June 10 senior citizen luncheon, where he will discuss his book, From Champlain to Pontchartrain: A Journey Through History Along One of America's Great Highways - U.S. Route 11, a groundbreaking work that chronicles the road's entire history and culture.
